Exercise Classes at Excelsius wellness
Small-group classes led by qualified Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists.
Designed around you.
At Excelsius Wellness in Forest Glen, our classes are a far cry from a crowded gym floor. Every session is led by a qualified Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist, with small group sizes that allow for real individual attention, proper technique guidance, and programs that actually progress.
Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing a health condition, building strength, or simply looking for a supportive environment to move and feel better, we have a class for you.
Before You Join a Class
Prior to attending any group class at Excelsius, all participants are required to complete an initial consultation with one of our Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists. This ensures you are placed in the most appropriate class and can exercise safely and effectively from your very first session.
During your initial consultation, we will take a full health history, review any current or previous injuries, assess your movement, strength, mobility, balance, and baseline fitness, and discuss your individual goals. It takes the guesswork out of where to start.
Our Classes
Four distinct class formats designed for different goals, fitness levels, and clinical needs.
Clinical Pilates
Our most personalised class offering. Clinical Pilates is delivered in a maximum of four participants per class, with each person following their own individually prescribed program. Led by a qualified Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist, sessions use specialised Pilates equipment including the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, and Springboard.
Ideal for injury rehabilitation, chronic health conditions, post-surgery recovery, or anyone who requires closer supervision and exercise modification. Also an excellent starting point for beginners who want to build confidence, strength, and movement skills at their own pace.
Pricing: $46 casual / $420 for a 10-pack
Hybrid Circuit Classes
A dynamic, higher-intensity option combining strength-based exercises with Pilates equipment in a supportive group environment. Classes accommodate up to six participants, and while sessions are not individually tailored, our instructors provide modifications to ensure every movement is safe and appropriate for your current fitness level.
Ideal for those looking to build strength, improve fitness, and enjoy the energy of a group setting. Suitable for beginners and experienced participants alike.
Pricing: $36 casual / $320 for a 10-pack
Small Group Strength Training
Progressive, functional strength training in a small group of four to five participants, led by a qualified Exercise Physiologist. Classes focus on movement patterns that translate to everyday life, improving strength, balance, mobility, and overall physical function.
We also offer dedicated bone health strength classes specifically designed for women during and after menopause. These evidence-based sessions apply targeted loading principles to build muscle strength, improve balance, and support bone health, reducing the risk of osteoporosis in a safe, encouraging environment.
Suitable for all fitness levels from beginners through to experienced exercisers.
Pricing: $36 per session / $320 for a 10-pack
Seniors Strength and Balance
Designed to help older adults stay strong, active, and independent, our Seniors classes are led by a qualified Exercise Physiologist and focus on strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and falls prevention. Sessions incorporate functional exercises suited to a range of abilities, helping participants maintain the strength and confidence needed for everyday activities.
These classes are some of our most popular at Excelsius, and it is easy to see why. With a warm, welcoming atmosphere, plenty of encouragement, and a real sense of community, participants often tell us the friendships they build here are just as valuable as the fitness benefits.
Pricing: $22 per session / $200 for a 10-pack

Why Our Classes Are Different
CLINICALLY LED
Every class is led by a qualified Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist. Not a fitness instructor. Not a personal trainer. A clinician who understands your body, your history, and your goals.
SMALL BY DESIGN
Our class sizes are deliberately small. Between four and six participants, depending on the format. This means you get genuine individual attention, proper technique guidance, and a program that actually progresses.
INDIVIDUALLY ASSESSED
Every participant completes an initial consultation before joining a class. We take the guesswork out of where to start and make sure you are in the right class from day one.
Ready to Get Started?
The first step is an initial consultation with one of our Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists. From there, we will recommend the most suitable class for your goals and get you started with confidence.
